Description:


My Booty (mdv, monocanal video 2006) is a story telling conceived as a crossing of two different massive and global video-narratives genres : cultural and acts of confession.

According to international laws of discourse: war booty is a term coined to describe militarily useful property seized from an enemy in a time of war (from wikipedia).
My Booty is a meta-narrative about collectionism and power stories. The narrator confesses a criminal act while a fixed camera shows pages of pre-Columbian productions books.
