Description:

Errata is composed by Pages, second version of Catalogues, File cards, Sheets and Graphics.

It's a system that incites to inquire formal and conceptually, the impact that the market produce on our perception and image of art. But also, examines whether this status can reach a representational language as "exciting" as the price of an artwork.

These pieces replicate, but also expand the devices of representation from Sotheby's and Christie's galleries. They propose – using a procedure inspired by their own market indicators- errata of the source information. (Catalog and the websites of these two galleries)

Errata proposes to visualize -by means a system of calculations and correspondence between dollars and centimeters-, the price of sale on the pictures of artwork sold. The project creates a Second version of the Catalogue, Pages and new Graphics. The selling price of each artwork produces the visual event on the image of the pieces sold.
