ART MARKET |

It investigates the impact
that the market, money and business have on our perception
of art, understanding this challenge as a way of questioning
the art critical promising.
Any projects proposed systems to measure whether when
the art crosses the limit of business, it violates its
subversive potential. These include documentary drawings,
actions, video, second versions of auctions catalogues,
sheets, posters, graphics, theatrical presentations
with Power Point, website, mathematic calculations,
technical and legal experts.

Museum /Collection
These are exercises that active new questions about
the museum, the act of collecting and the status of
legitimation as systems of belief, narrative and power
relationships. It includes interventions, installations,
mise-en-scène, video, archives, performances,
letters.
Wherever an object is exhibited (or otherwise singled
out), it enters into a "conversation" with
other artefacts and, according to the context which
it is placed, it champions an array of particular views
which, inevitably, differ from a host of other views.
Both as metaphor and agent (a not only within the art
world), it becomes part of the negotiations –and
struggle- over how we understand the world and what
our social relations should be. (text by Hans Haacke,
from Viewing Matters, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen)

These projects operate on drifts
and lines of flight, revisiting the situationist inheritance,
these projects recourses to the rhetoric of the symposium
or conference, psychogeography, the tours, the activism,
bars talk, the creation of laboratories or live magazines. In
these exercises, the artistic practice — through
the use of performatics strategies of mimesis and camouflage
- takes traits of invisibility.

Since the mid-1990s Art & Capital series
develops projects that investigate the limits of artistic
genres in the ideological framework of art narrative into
the capitalist system. These practices are deploying in several
media such as: graphic pieces, installations, actions and
performances, drawings, theatrelized symposia, situational/social-processes
and videos. She employs resources and conceptual methods borrowed
from art and other practices such as courtroom drawings, developed
of graphics and economy calculations, cartography, theater,
films, official documents and tactical of law.The investigations
are limited to the tension between any signs, structures and
mechanisms which are actively involved in the construction
of the gaze and the image of art: the impact of the market,
the narratives of legitimation and the drifts or lines of
flight.
Any projects implicate the exhibition devices as site-specifics;
the art-form is defined in the limit of the artistic genres,
and by means of strategies of mimesis and camouflage also
in the limit of the artistic practice.
